CCWC is seeking new board members to join its team!
Washington County, Oregon, has a thriving arts and culture scene, with over 140 arts, heritage, and humanities non-profits. We enjoy theater and music performances, art galleries and libraries, art in schools, programs for children, and much more. These organizations make our community vibrant and enhance our quality of life. Would you like to have a role in helping them succeed?
If you answered yes, join the Cultural Coalition of Washington County’s Board of Directors. What does it take to be a CCWC Board Member?
- A strong desire to support arts, cultural, heritage, and humanities activities and organizations in Washington County, Oregon.
- Participation in the 2026 Grant Review Committee (October & November 2025 – approx. 8-10 hours)
- Attendance to in-person quarterly board meetings (approx. 8 hours)
- Attendance and participation for an in-person board retreat (approx. 4 hours)
- Two hours monthly to contribute to advancing Washington County’s Cultural Plan by participating in a committee (approx. 24 hours) by
Time Commitment: 44-46 Hours/Annually (In-person & Virtual Oppts)
If you can meet the obligations above, please complete the CCWC Board Member Application form. The CCWC Governance Committee will interview candidates during the week after 6 pm PST and on Saturday or Sunday from 9 am to 12 pm PST.
